Transforming lives through education
VíaNiños provides education and welfare support to working children and their families in Ecuador. With your help we are creating brighter futures for generations to come.
How we help
Empowering communities through education, social support, and life-changing opportunities.

Safe spaces to play
We create safe areas for pre-school working children to learn, play, and grow without fear.
These early years are vitally important for child development. Through play, children learn crucial cognitive and social skills.

Providing education
We help older working children to attend a specialist school and learn through a tailored curriculum.
The educational attainment helps the kids find gainful employment and earn a better living for themselves and their families.

Health and wellbeing
Many children experience different levels of physical and mental abuse at home.
We support children with their social, psychological and physical health problems so they can overcome them.

Dedicated to brighter futures
ViaNiños roughly translates to street children in Spanish. It’s a fitting name for our not-for-profit charity as we fundraise to help working children gain an education and break the cycle of poverty. Find out more about the positive impact of education on poverty.
We support three grassroot non-government organisations in Ecuador that offer targeted support and education programmes to vulnerable working children. Our partners have decades of experience helping young people escape child labour and destitution through educational opportunities, decent work, financial support and strategic advice.
Every penny we raise goes directly to our partners to ensure that your donations are spent with the greatest impact and changing as many lives as possible.

Real lives, real change
Hear from the children and families whose lives have been changed through UBECI’s support. Your donation helps us continue bringing education, empowerment, and hope to those who need it most.

From a child at UBECI
At the foundation I can play and paint. That’s why I like to come. The activities
make me feel good. I have learned to do new things, like experiments, sharing and not fight. I want you to always come.

From a child at CENIT
The teachers at the school help me a lot. I have a chance to study so I can get a better job after I leave. I am learning lots of things and I love going to the library and reading books.

From a mother
I like the workshops because they give me different information every day. For example, they have taught us about domestic abuse, psychological abuse, what we can do if that happens to
us, where we can go, and who we can ask for help when we need it. My daughter loves going to UBECI. She runs to you.
